Mammography services available at three convenient locations
June is National Cancer Survivor Month – a perfect time for patients to make appointments for recommended cancer screenings. There are currently plenty of appointments available for mammography services at three locations in western Riverside County.
Dr. Lisa Mahoney, a diagnostic radiology specialist and cancer survivor, is encouraging patients to be open about their health history and concerns with their doctors, because everyone’s risk of cancer is different depending on age, sex, lifestyle and health history.
“Your best chance at becoming a cancer survivor is to catch cancer early. You can do that by getting preventative screenings when recommended,” says Dr. Mahoney.
