The Lehman Center (TLC) is a teaching clinic primarily staffed by student practitioners serving system of care consumers.  TLC is a single clinic with two campuses- one for adults and one for children and families.  The students are supervised by seasoned, professional clinicians whose sole responsibility is to oversee and instruct the student’s practice and ensure good client care.

The goal of TLC is to develop competent, ethical and compassionate practitioners in RUHS-BH that are able to provide a range of clinical services to adults, and to children and their families.

The Lehman Center Adults campus, is co-located with the Blaine Street Adult Clinic, specifically serves adults ranging from 18 to 59 years of age. The clients that TLC serves have full-scope Medi-Cal, are generally low Socio Economic Status (SES), and are diverse in racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

TLC provides services including biopyschosocialspiritual assessments, risk assessments, individual and group therapy, and care coordination services, as well as, referrals for psychiatric medication evaluations.

TLC has bilingual/Spanish interns to provide services for Spanish speaking clients who would otherwise experience delays in receiving services.
