Our work in this area creates accessible career pipelines aimed at expanding and diversifying our workforce in ways that better meet our communities’ needs. This includes promoting careers in behavioral health, training and incorporating people with lived experience into our workforce, offering robust volunteer opportunities, and supporting current staff in their professional advancement. Clinical Licensure Advancement and Support (CLAS) Program
What is it?
The Clinical Licensure Advancement and Support (CLAS) Program is a 3-18 month program designed to help our pre-licensed clinicians (ASW, AMFT, and APCC) to become licensed mental health professionals.
What does it offer?
The CLAS Program offers several great resources in order to serve pre-licensed staff including, online test study programs, virtual/regional study groups, mini-lessons, quarterly newsletter, a resource guide, and individual coaching.
Who is eligible for the program?
• Must be a Clinical Therapist I
• Have completed your probationary period
• Have completed 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience
• Be in good standing with the department and received immediate supervisor approval to join the program
