Mission

The mission of RUHS Psychiatry Residency Program is to foster clinical excellence, leadership, scholarship, and provide compassionate healthcare to all, especially the underserved. The Psychiatry Residency Program is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience that prepares our residents to meet the demands of contemporary psychiatric practice. Emphasis is placed on the acquisition of expertise in medical knowledge, skills, scholarly activities and professional competencies in a community-based learning environment. The program provides residents the opportunity to learn and explore the many facets of Psychiatry.
