To ensure that the privacy and rights of those we serve are maintained, patient-related inquiries must also go through Public Information staff.

For reporters working on late-breaking stories after hours or on weekends, public relations staff members are available on-call, seven days a week.

Introduction

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is a multi-faceted health organization serving the 2.4 million residents of Riverside County

Embracing a comprehensive and integrated approach to care, RUHS houses four agencies that serve as a safety net for the care and well-being of individuals.

 

  • Community Health Centers offer a range of primary and specialty healthcare services by dedicated professionals, along with Express Care and RUHS Mobile Health Clinics that visit Riverside County's rural and urban communities.

 

  • RUHS Behavioral Health provides mental health and substance use services, a robust crisis system and the services of the Public Guardian's Office. Those in need of 24/7 access to support and resources are urged to call the CARES line (Community Access, Evaluation and Support) line at 800.499.3008.

 

  • RUHS  Medical Center is a 439-bed teaching hospital and research hub with a Level 1 Trauma Center and the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Riverside County.

 

  • RUHS Public Health promotes and protects the health of all Riverside County residents and visitors in service of the well-being of the community.
