Thank you for your interest in the Psychiatry Residency Program at Riverside University Health System. This recently accredited program represents the collective vision of a group of dedicated professionals and educators who have come together to develop an inclusive and unique curriculum that will prepare residents to become superior clinicians – ready to face the challenges of a constantly evolving healthcare environment. Furthermore, the program will take advantage of some of the most exciting developments the field of psychiatry has seen in decades, with the goal of training excellent psychiatrists that can deliver state-of-the-art care to the underserved population of the Inland Empire.
Director’s Welcome
Beyond training, we recognize the importance of cultivating friendship and fellowship among the faculty and residents as an essential part of developing a well-rounded professional. Despite the challenges of starting our journey in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken particular care to foster a culture within the program that will support each individual resident in reaching his or her personal, professional, and life goals.
